<description>I have to edit this a bit. We were going to go gallivanting along the Parkway, but after spending some time with friends Sunday evening, we decided to go to the beach instead! Yeah, I know, long drive just to fight crowds. But we have a secret place. There is an island park just north of Jacksonville. You have to take a ferry to it. Needless to say, not many people there at all. It was almost like a private beach. So we spent our wonderful day, splashing in the ocean and finding shells (yes, they let you take them with you). Yes it was a 5+ hour drive one way, but I got to have my beloved all to myself. No distractions. Good conversation!
